Beautiful medieval-style gardens include a walled herb garden filled with more than 50 culinary and medicinal herb varieties that were in common cultivation in the medieval period. You can also explore the vineyard, maze and rose garden, as well as the bowling green surrounded by flowers and shrubs grown in this country before 1600. There is also a wild boar park, observation beehive, rare-breed sheep, and falconry displays. Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply. We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary. Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking. If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy. Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.Check before you travel
