The childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Hever Castle now offers a fabulous day out for all the family. There is colour and beauty in these well maintained grounds. Beautiful and richly planted, the grounds include a 110m-long herbaceous border, a Tudor garden, yew maze, rose garden, a colour-themed ‘blue corner’ and water maze with hidden surprises. The four-acre Italian garden has classical statues, a pergola, colonnade and fountains. You can also take a walk around the ornamental lake, where wildlife and meadow flowers thrive, or explore by rowing boat.
Check before you travel
Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.
We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.
Always take your 2 for 1 card with you
Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.
If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.
Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
