First laid out in 1580, this garden has been kept true to its original design. It comprises a series of garden rooms, divided by yew hedges and each with its own season and colour. The many highlights include a magnolia garden, peony border, Italian garden planted with more than 12,500 tulips, a double herbaceous border, reflective pools and autumn colour.
