Penshurst Place Gardens

Penshurst Place Gardens 2-for-1 entry

Get one free entry with one full-paying adult, with your Gardeners’ World Magazine 2-for-1 entry card. Valid at 392 gardens.

First laid out in the 1560s, this garden has been kept true to its original design. It comprises a series of garden rooms, divided by yew hedges and each with its own style and colour. The many highlights include a magnolia garden, peony border, Italian garden planted with more than 12,500 tulips, a double herbaceous border, reflective pools and colourful summer displays.

Check before you travel

Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.

We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.

Always take your 2 for 1 card with you

Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.

If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.

Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
