In the walled gardens you’ll find a bounty of flowers, including daffodils, irises, peonies, lavender and heritage roses, as well as shrubs, clipped hedges and ancient yews. There are formal ponds with fountains and waterlilies, and a 130m-long herbaceous border billowing with colour. Follow the Ladies Walk to see spring-flowering cherries, hazelnuts, apples and mulberry trees.
Check before you travel
Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.
We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.
Always take your 2 for 1 card with you
Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.
If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.
Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
