In this informal 15-acre valley garden, winding, hidden paths lead you through a subtropical jungle, past camellias, rhododendrons and magnolias, beneath a verdant canopy of tree ferns and around large clumps of bamboos and giant-leaved gunnera. (Boots are recommended, as it can be muddy.)
