(COPY FROM 2020) Powis is one of the few baroque gardens to have survived almost intact since the 1680s. Laid out beneath the spectacular castle, it includes grand Italianate terraces, amazing 300-year-old cloud-like yew hedges, and a formal Edwardian garden with lavish herbaceous borders full of fragrant flowers.
Check before you travel
Before setting off check the garden’s website or call direct, as opening details can vary and one-off restrictions may apply.
We advise checking the garden’s own website or calling them direct to ensure the published details are accurate, as opening times and restrictions may vary.
Always take your 2 for 1 card with you
Some gardens have pre-booking systems in place – take your 2 for 1 card with you to validate your booking.
If a garden offers both pre-booking and walk-up options, we recommend booking prior to your visit to avoid disappointment should the garden be busy.
Please don’t make multiple pre-bookings or share your 2 for 1 card – card misuse will invalidate your discount claim at the garden.
