In this Gardeners’ World programme clip, Monty replaces a tired, old rosemary plant, which hasn’t coped well with a harsh winter. Before planting a fresh young plant in the same spot he adds horticultural grit to aid drainage, replicating the Mediterranean conditions that rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) enjoys in its native habitat.
