Agapanthus 'Lapis Lazuli' is a compact agapanthus bred in Taranaki, New Zealand. It forms tight clumps of strap-shaped leaves, from which tall stems of bright blue flowers appear in summer. Each petal of each trumpet-shaped flower has a darker blue stripe. It’s perfect for growing in a small garden as well as part of a container display.

Grow Agapanthus 'Lapis Lazuli' in moist but well-drained soil in full sun. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering. Not fully hardy, it may need protection in winter. Divide and replant congested clumps in spring.
