Anthemis are reliable plants, bearing yellow, orange or white daisy flowers, above finely-cut leaves. They’re perfect for growing in sunny borders, and thrive in very free-draining soil in full sun. Anthemis make fantastic summer bedding plants and quickly fill gaps in the border.
Anthemis arvensis is a clump-forming cornfield annual, bearing aromatic, green, fern-like foliage, in contrast with pretty white daisy flowers with a bright golden centre. It’s the perfect choice for growing in annual or pictorial meadows, and works well planted in clumps in ornamental borders.
For best results grow Anthemis arvensis in full sun in well-drained soil. Don’t allow the soil to become waterlogged. Plants self-seed easily.
