Tuberous begonias are renowned for their bright colours and long flowering season. Male and female flowers are borne separately on the same plant, with male flowers being more elaborate than the female. Tuberous begonias produce masses of flowers, and are ideal for growing in baskets and pots.
Begonia ‘Non Stop’ is a vigorous tuberous begonia, bearing masses of pretty flowers in a range of colours including red and yellow, throughout summer and into autumn. It grows well in sun and shade and is perfect for growing in pots.
For best results keep Begonia ‘Non Stop’ plants well watered, and feed fortnightly with a high-potash fertiliser to prolong flowering. Lift tubers in autumn, before the first frosts, and store in barely moist soil or sand in a frost-free shed. Water the tubers occasionally to stop them drying up.
