Clematis integrifolia are low-growing clematis, which lack tendrils and therefore don't cling or climb. They naturally spread over a herbaceous border and are the perfect choice for trailing out of large pots, and when ground cover is needed.

Clematis 'Jan Fopma' bears nodding, scented, purple flowers with cream-white stamens and a delightful chocolate scent, from July to September.

It falls into Pruning Group Three. Simply cut stems back to the lowest pair of buds in February or March.
