Clematis 'Pendragon' is a viticella hybrid, bearing small, nodding, dusky red-purple flowers with a more purple base. Flowers ave a spicy sweet scent. It's best grown in a sunny position, so is ideal for training up a trellis against a sunny fence or wall.

Clematis 'Pendragon' falls into Pruning Group Three. Simply cut stems back to the lowest pair of buds in February or March.
