Echinocereus longisetus subsp. delaetii is a low-growing cactus covered with long hairs. Over time, it can form wide clumps up to 35 cm tall and 90 cm in diameter, comprised of as many as 50 stems, but in cultivation it's typically smaller. The flowers are pink with pale yellow centres, and appear in late-spring to summer, although flowering is unlikely.

Grow Echinocereus longisetus subsp. delaetii in well-drained soil or cactus compost and keep at room temperature. Water sparingly and allow compost to fully dry out between November and March.
