Cranesbill, or hardy geraniums are perennial border plants with saucer-shaped flowers in shades of pink, purple and blue. They are easy to grow, thrive in shade and flower for months. They’re popular in cottage garden schemes and offer a long season of pollen and nectar for a number of pollinators, particularly bees.
Geranium 'Stephanie' is a pretty, low-growing, mound-forming cranesbill, bearing masses of cup-shaped, lavender-blue flowers with dark veins. It's perfect for growing at the front of borders or next to garden paths, where it will quickly form a dense carpet from which its flowers spill out.
For best results grow Geranium 'Stephanie' in well-drained but moist soil, in partial shade.
