Heucheras are native to the woodlands of North America. They tend to grow in dense clumps and have brightly coloured foliage. They thrive in shade and make great groundcover plants. While plants are mainly grown for their foliage, inconspicuous flowers in summer add to their charm.

Heuchera ‘Snow Fire’ has unusual, large, variegated leaves in dark green and silver-green. Bright red flowers are borne on tall stems in early summer. ‘Snow Fire’ is well suited to growing in pots on the patio as well as a mixed, herbaceous border, and thrives in partial shade.
