A cross between heucheras and tiarellas, heucherellas have brightly coloured foliage. They thrive in shade and make great groundcover plants, and some have a trailing habit and can be grown in hanging baskets. While plants are mainly grown for their foliage, inconspicuous flowers add to their charm.

Heucherella ‘Tapestry' has blue-green leaves which mature to silvery green with purple veins. Pink flowers are borne in summer. Plants have a good spreading habit and make excellent groundcover at the front of a shady border. They are also suited to growing in pots.
