Hosta 'Hands Up' is an unusual hosta, bearing upright, twisted and slender foliage, with wide yellow margins. Large lavender flowers appear on tall stems in July. It's perfect for growing in a shady border or growing as a focal point in its own right in a container.

For best results grow Hosta 'Hands Up' in moist but well-drained soil in partial shade, ideally with a little morning sun as this improves the leaf colour. Mulch annually with well-rotted manure or compost, and protect plants from slugs and snails.
