Bearded irises are so-named after the 'beards' on each of the falls (lower petals) of the flowers. Iris 'Stellar Lights' is a remontant (reblooming) bearded iris, which flowers in late-spring and early summer, and then again in autumn (although the second flowering is not guaranteed). It bears shiny, violet-blue flowers with a white centre, and small, white beards.

Iris 'Stellar Lights' is perfect for growing in a mixed herbaceous border or gravel garden, and makes an excellent cut flower.

For best results grow in well-drained soil in full sun, and mulch with well-rotted manure or garden compost annually.
