Oryzopsis miliacea is a particularly attractive ornamental grass, forming a compact mound of grass-like stems, from which gorgeous, airy flower panicles appear from spring right through to winter. It’s ideal for growing in a mixed ornamental border or gravel garden, where its airy flowerheads can be fully appreciated.

Grow Oryzopsis miliacea in a sheltered, sunny site, ideally with protection from wind. Cut back flowers in late winter to make way for new growth.
