Horned rampion, Phyteuma scheuchzeri, is a relative of the campanula, bearing unusual ‘horned’ purple flowers above tufts of narrow grey-green foliage. It’s perfect for growing in the rock garden or as part of a container display, where you can make the most of its unique form and beautiful colour combinations.

For best results grow Phyteuma scheuchzeri in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Not fully hardy, it may need protection in winter. Divide clumps in spring.
