Freesia 'Super Giant Mixed' is a colourful mixture of different-coloured freesias, bearing large, sweetly scented blooms on wiry sterns. The funnel-shaped flowers range in colour from white, to shades of yellow, red and mauve. Plants are vigorous, early and productive, and perfect for cutting.

For best results grow freesias in a cool greenhouse in pots of loam based compost with added grit. Feed weekly after the flower buds appear. When flowering has finished, reduce watering gradually to dry them off, then store the corms for replanting in late summer or autumn.
