Japanese lace fern, Sphenomeris chinensis is an incredibly attractive rhizomatous perennial, bearing dense clumps of upright, slender stems of delicate, lace-like fronds.
Grow Sphenomeris chinensis in full to partial shade in moist but well-drained soil with plenty of leafmould added to enable the rhizomes to spread.
