Named Rose of the Year 2000, Rosa ‘Irish Eyes’ is a lovely floribunda rose with good disease resistance, vigorous growth and a sweet fragrance.

The compact plants bear clusters of double, orange flowers flushed with orange and red at the tips of the petals, throughout summer and into autumn. It’s ideal for growing in the herbaceous border or even in a large pot.

Rosa ‘Irish Eyes’ grows well in a variety of soil types but does better if mulched with well-rotted manure or compost. Hard prune in February and help prolong flowering by deadheading regularly, and adding a high potash feed every fortnight in summer.
