Perennial salvias are invaluable in ornamental borders for their display of spiky flowers from summer through to autumn. Salvia 'Dyson's Joy' is the product of an exciting new development in plant breeding. From May to November it bears bicoloured blooms in two shades of pink, on compact plants. It's extremely popular with bees and makes an excellent cut flower.
For best results grow Salvia 'Dysons Joy' in a sunny, sheltered spot in well-drained soil. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage flowers into mid-autumn. Mulch annually with well-rotted manure or garden compost. Plants may need protection in the harshest winters.
