A hardy annual, summer savoury has slender bronze green leaves and pretty lilac flowers, which are popular with bees. It’s perfect for growing in pots, ornamental borders and herb gardens alike.

Leaves are aromatic and peppery and have a flavour similar to thyme. They may also be used to aid digestion, reduce fevers and soothe bee stings.
