London Pride is a classic rockery plant, bearing pale green rosettes of spoon-shaped, fleshy leaves. Tall stems of pretty, star-shaped flowers emerge in May and June.

Saxifraga urbinum 'Variegata' has pretty, variegated leaves, which are green with splashes of golden yellow. It's perfect for growing at the front of the border and edging paths, and in rockeries.

For best results grow Saxifraga urbinum 'Variegata' in moist but well-drained soil, in full sun to partial shade.
