False lily of the valley, Speirantha convallarioides, is a slow-growing, evergreen perennial bearing broad, strap-like leaves and spikes of star-shaped, white flowers in late spring. It’s perfect for growing in the woodland garden and provides excellent ground cover.

Grow Speirantha convallarioides in moist soil in a sheltered, shady spot. Add plenty of leaf mould to the soil when planting and don’t allow the soil to dry out.
