Unlike their close cousins arum lilies, calla lilies are not hardy and are therefore are best suited to growing in containers which can be moved indoors in autumn. They have large, glossy foliage which, in late spring and early summer, is complemented by large, white, hood-shaped blooms. They make excellent cut flowers.

Zantedeschia 'Kiwi Blush' bears white flowers with pink staining in the throat. Grow in moist soil in a sheltered sunny spot, or in a container with other moisture-loving plants.
