How is the Flopro Elite hose made?
With its six-layer construction this has the most number of layers of any hose we tested and is a tough but flexible hose. It includes Tricot reinforced ATS mesh for extra strength and is also made from an algae resistant material. It’s UV-resistant and can cope with temperatures as low as -20°C as well as over 60°C.
What is the Flopro Elite hose like to use?
This is a strong, durable hose which purports to be anti-kink, anti-twist and anti-crush and it certainly proved to be in our test. Despite its strength it feels light and comfortable when you’re using it and carrying it about in different areas of the garden. It is straightforward and easy to uncoil and then recoils easily after use when you’re done.
What jobs is the Flopro Elite hose best used for?
This premium hose has a hefty burst pressure of 36 bar so its suitable for all watering jobs, including pressure washing and using with a sprinkler.
Available in two lengths, 15m and 30m it’s useful in both small and medium gardens.
Is the Flopro Elite hose good value for money?
At exactly £2.00 per meter of hose this is the most expensive hoses we reviewed in our test. It comes with a lifetime guarantee and is strong and flexible, but we felt there were better value hoses in our test.
Since our On Test review in the summer of 2018 the Flopro Elite hose has been superseded by the Flopro Professional hose.
