Hellebores are among the most exquisite late-winter and early-spring blooms. With their heads bowed to the ground in the garden, their beauty can lay hidden, which is why some choose to gather a bunch, cut them and enjoy indoors at closer range.
To do this at home, simply cut the flower head, leaving an inch or two of the stem. Dip the ends in boiled water to seal them, and then float them in a pretty bowl – a display that can last up to one week.
