Competition rules

1. 1. The Promoter is Immediate Media Company London Limited.

   3. The promotion is open to all residents of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland), including the Channel Islands, aged 18 years or older, except the Promoter’s employees or contractors and anyone connected with the promotion or their direct family members.
   4. The closing date for entries is 11.59 am on Monday 25th March, 2024.
   5. By entering the promotion, the participants agree: (a) to be bound by these terms and conditions; (b) that their surname and county of residence may be released if they win a prize; and (c) that should they win the promotion, their name and likeness may be used by the Promoter for pre-arranged promotional purposes.
   6. Entrants should enter via the online entry form. Entries received after the closing date of the promotion will not be considered.
   7. Entrants must supply to Immediate Media Company Limited their full name, email address and daytime telephone number.
   8. The Promoter will use entrants’ personal details in accordance with the Immediate Privacy Policy (www.immediatemedia.co.uk/privacy-policy).
   9. Only one entry will be permitted per person, regardless of method of entry. Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.
   10. The winning entrant will be the first correct entry drawn at random from all the correct entries after the closing date. The Promoter’s decision as to the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into. The Promoter may share the details of the winner with the prize provider for the purposes of fulfilling/delivering the prize.
   11. The winner will be notified within 14 days of the close of the promotion by email. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 28 days of such notification being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner up, or to re-offer the prize in any future promotion.
   12. There is no cash alternative and the prize will not be transferable. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of the same or greater value.
   13. The surname and county of residence of the winner will be available upon request [by writing to website@gardenersworld.com] within two months of the closing date of the promotion. The Promoter will contact the winner before releasing this information and provide the winner the opportunity to object or limit the amount of information shared.
   14. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
   15. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for lost, delayed or fraudulent entries.
   16. The Promoter excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the promotion or occurring to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of a prize.

6. Upon confirmation of acceptance, the winner may be announced on the Coastal Cottages social media channels.
7. Winners can book a stay that is more than the £500 gift voucher or request extra services available at each location but any costs beyond the £500 value will be at the winner's own expense.
8. Entrants must be 18 years of age or over. When contacted the winner may be asked to provide proof of age.
9. The winner must complete a guest booking form detailing full contact details.
10. Coastal Cottages may change or restrict the arrival dates from the available booking dates window above.
11. Prize information will be sent out via email after the winner has accepted their prize and arrangements will be made for dates and times of arrival.
12. No refunds will be given if the full value of the prize is not redeemed.
13. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
14. Employees connected with this promotion from Coastal Cottages, Travel Agents, and employees of third-party prize suppliers and promotional agencies and their families are excluded from taking part in this competition. Anyone found to be a third-party supplier will automatically forfeit the prize and a redraw will take place.
