Competition rules

1. 1. The Promoter is Immediate Media Company London Limited.
   2. The BBC Code of Conduct for competitions can be found at bbc.com/editorialguidelines/guidance/code-of-conduct and all BBC magazines comply with the Code.
   3. The promotion is open to all residents of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland), including the Channel Islands, aged 18 years or older, except the Promoter’s employees or contractors and anyone connected with the promotion or their direct family members.
   4. The closing date for entries is 11.59am, Monday 27th May, 2024.
   5. By entering the promotion, the participants agree: (a) to be bound by these terms and conditions; (b) that their surname and county of residence may be released if they win a prize; and (c) that should they win the promotion, their name and likeness may be used by the Promoter for pre-arranged promotional purposes.
   6. Entrants should enter via the online entry form. Entries received after the closing date of the promotion will not be considered.
   7. Entrants must supply to Immediate Media Company Limited their full name, email address and daytime telephone number.
   8. The Promoter will use entrants’ personal details in accordance with the Immediate Privacy Policy (www.immediatemedia.co.uk/privacy-policy).
   9. Only one entry will be permitted per person, regardless of method of entry. Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.
   10. The winning entrant will be the first correct entry drawn at random from all the correct entries after the closing date. The Promoter’s decision as to the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into. The Promoter may share the details of the winner with the prize provider for the purposes of fulfilling/delivering the prize.
   11. The winner will be notified within 14 days of the close of the promotion by email. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 28 days of such notification being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner up, or to re-offer the prize in any future promotion.
   12. There is no cash alternative and the prize will not be transferable. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of the same or greater value.
   13. The surname and county of residence of the winner will be available upon request [by writing to website@gardenersworld.com] within two months of the closing date of the promotion. The Promoter will contact the winner before releasing this information and provide the winner the opportunity to object or limit the amount of information shared.
   14. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
   15. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for lost, delayed or fraudulent entries.
   16. The Promoter excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the promotion or occurring to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of a prize.
   17. The promotion is subject to the laws of England.
       1. The prize consists of a holiday to Slovenia for two people for duration of 7 nights departing from London Gatwick on 7^th October 2024. The prize includes flights, transfers, guided tours.
       2. Travel insurance is not included and will need to be purchased separately at prize winners own cost. Full details of holiday can be found here.
       3. This holiday includes 1 small bag (e.g., Carry-on Bag) and does not include any checked baggage. This will need to be purchased separately at prize winners own cost.
       4. The winner must be available to travel on the this departure date.
       5. Prize is as offered, and no cash alternative will apply.
       6. The prize is not transferable.
       7. Entry is for people of 18 years of age and over and resident in the United Kingdom.
       8. Travel Department reserve the right to change any aspect of the prize.
       9. The prize will be subject to any additional terms and conditions when booking a Travel Department holiday. Booking terms and conditions apply and can be found here.
       10. Travel Department are excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of the prize.
       11. The winner may be required to participate in unpaid promotional related publicity undertaken by Travel Department and Gardener’s World.
       12. Entry to this competition shall be deemed full and unconditional acceptance of the terms & conditions.
       13. Travel Department reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions.
       14. Participants agree to use their testimonials for marketing purposes.
