Make sure you're at the first ever garden show at Ascot Racecourse this April
Ascot Racecourse is famous for its world-class horse racing, but the esteemed venue is now branching out into the field of gardening. Having partnered with the nearby Savill Garden and Valley Gardens at Windsor Great Park, it is launching the Ascot Spring Garden Show in April this year. The three venues are all part of the historic Windsor Estate, have royal heritage, and are renowned as places of outstanding beauty that host high-class events.
The all-new garden show is a stand-alone event alongside the regular ones held at Ascot Racecourse, but the organisers intend to run it on a yearly basis. It has been planned and designed by Stephen Bennett, former Shows Director at the Royal Horticultural Society, where he was responsible for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show as well as the launch of other major RHS shows.
There will also be inspiring show gardens from award-winning designers, 35 specialist plant nurseries and a plant crèche, 60 garden-related trade stands, and six gardens from the Young Gardeners of the Year competition. This boutique garden show promises high-quality horticulture, unrivalled service and state-of-the-art facilities, and is the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of spring.
THE ASCOT SPRING GARDEN SHOW IS TAKING PLACE FROM FRIDAY 13 TO SUNDAY 15 APRIL 2018
