The Oregon stonecrop, Sedum oreganum, is a small but eye-catching succulent. As temperatures rise in summer, the green leaves turn an intense shade of red, timing in with the appearance of starry yellow flowers.

Sedum oreganum is especially useful for growing in hot, dry spots in the garden, and will perform well growing in pots, alpine gardens or planted troughs.

For best results, grow Sedum oreganum in full sun in gritty, well-drained soil.
