We're delighted to bring you the first ever BBC Gardeners' World Magazine plant range. Designed for gardeners who love high-impact plants for containers, we've created six colour-themed collections that take the hassle out of summer pots. Our first two collections, Summer Sunshine and Pink Perfection, were released in May, 2019, our third and fourth collections, Hot Lime Tango and Regal Splendour in June, 2019, and our final fifth and sixth collections, Summer Sizzle and Sea Breeze, will be in selected Tesco stores nationwide from July, 2019 - exact date to be confirmed.

Plant collections

All plants in our new plant range have been specially selected for being easy-to-grow and reliable – making them ideal planting partners for your summer garden.

Available as:

  • Individual plants in one-litre pots £3
  • Two-litre pots £4
  • Ready planted 35cm hanging basket - containing the full collection £15
  • Ready planted 28cm pot - containing the full collection £15

See our tips for planting different types of hanging baskets, including long-lasting hanging baskets and the best way to water hanging baskets.

When positioning containers, think carefully about how much light they will receive. Try grouping containers together for easy-watering, but ensure they do not over-shadow other pots - remember container plants usually require more watering than those in borders.
